Types of Stainless Steel Submersible Sewage Pump

Types of Stainless Steel Submersible Sewage Pump

There are two types of pumps, Stainless Steel Submersible Sewage Pump and external pump. For ponds, Stainless Steel Submersible Sewage Pumps are preferred because they can be easily hidden and used in skimmers. There are a variety of pumps to choose from, so the following guide can help you determine which pump is best for you.

Magnetic drive: suitable for small and medium-sized applications, such as splashes and small basin filter devices. Pond Guy MagFlo and other such pumps are operated by electromagnetic impellers. These usually have a long service life and usually only need a new impeller to update the pump.

Asynchronous and hybrid: They have higher flow rates at lower head pressures, making them ideal for medium to large-scale applications. Asynchronous pumps and hybrid pumps, such as the Atlantic Tidal Wave3 TT series and Blue Thumb IllumiFlow, have a long service life and work as a direct drive, but they are as energy-efficient as a magnetic drive.

Direct drive: ShinMaywa Norus submersible pumps and other direct drive pumps are designed for high head pressure and high flow functions. Most models require an oil change or lubrication to keep the impeller shaft moving normally. These pumps have fewer moving parts and are therefore more economical to purchase. However, their service life is shorter than other types of pumps.
